Don’t Let AI Replace Your Handshake: The Real Power Is Still in Relationships
While I’m a huge advocate for AI (you’ve probably heard me say that a few dozen times), there’s one thing I refuse to let it replace — real, human connection.
AI is powerful. It can write, edit, plan, schedule, design, and even make you look like a rockstar in your videos. I get it — I use it every single day. But here’s the thing: no amount of automation will ever replace authenticity.
Whenever I work with AI, there’s always one guiding question running through my mind:
👉 “How can this help me connect better with people?”
That’s it. That’s the rule.
Because if we’re honest, it’s easy to get caught up in the fun of it all — the prompts, the image generation, the video avatars that look just like you (but don’t blink quite right). But at the end of the day, the most powerful thing you can do in business — especially in real estate — is build genuine relationships.
AI should enhance your connection, not replace it. Use it to free up time, craft smarter messages, or understand your clients’ needs more deeply. But don’t let it become your entire personality. There’s still no substitute for grabbing coffee with a client, shaking hands, or having that “Hey, how are you really doing?” conversation.
Yes, there’s a lot of psychology behind why we connect better face-to-face — I’ll save that for another post — but for now, just remember this:
💡 AI can make you efficient, but only you can make you authentic.
So go ahead — use the fancy tools, write better prompts, create awesome images, and maybe even that slick video assistant. Just don’t forget to be human in the process.
Because in a world of algorithms, it’s still the real connections that close the deal.
