7 AI Tools Every REALTOR® Needs in 2026 | Justin Letheby
The Only 7 AI Tools REALTORS® Actually Need in 2026
Last year, the question everyone asked was:
"What's the best AI tool?"
This year, I believe that's the wrong question.
The real question isn't which tool is best.
It's:
Which tools solve the problems you actually have?
Too many professionals are chasing every new AI platform that launches. Before long, they're paying for five or six subscriptions, learning different interfaces, and spending more time managing software than actually serving clients.
AI shouldn't create more work.
It should eliminate it.
Stop Looking for One Perfect AI Tool
Every AI platform has strengths.
Some are better at writing.
Some excel at research.
Others are designed for presentations, graphics, or workflow automation.
Instead of trying to force one tool to do everything, think about building a small ecosystem of tools that each have a specific job.
That's exactly how I approach my own business.
1. ChatGPT — Your Daily Business Assistant
If I had to choose one AI platform for everyday work, it would still be ChatGPT.
I use it for:
Brainstorming ideas
Project planning
Workflow creation
YouTube production
Lead magnets
Marketing campaigns
Coaching resources
The key isn't asking ChatGPT to "write something."
The value comes from giving it context, processes, and reusable workflows.
One input can become:
YouTube description
LinkedIn article
Facebook posts
Email newsletter
Blog
Instagram content
SEO assets
That saves hours every week.
2. Perplexity — Better Research
When I need current information, Perplexity is often my first stop.
It does an excellent job gathering sources and organizing research.
For REALTORS®, this means faster research on:
Market trends
Industry updates
Local statistics
Technology comparisons
Research is where accuracy matters.
Perplexity shines here.
3. Google Gemini — Built Into Your Workspace
If your business already runs on Google Workspace, Gemini becomes incredibly useful.
Because it connects naturally with:
Gmail
Google Drive
Google Docs
It also allows you to build Gems—custom AI assistants trained specifically for your business.
Imagine creating one AI assistant that already understands:
Your brand
Your audience
Your writing style
Your services
Your calls-to-action
That's a significant time saver.
4. NotebookLM — Your Knowledge Base
NotebookLM has quickly become one of my favorite AI tools.
Instead of asking generic AI questions, you upload your own information.
Examples include:
Company policies
Market reports
MLS resources
Association documents
Training manuals
Now AI answers based on your information—not just the internet.
That's powerful.
5. Gamma — Professional Presentations Without the Design Headache
I'm the first to admit:
Graphic design isn't my strength.
Gamma solves that.
It creates:
Presentation decks
Client guides
Lead magnets
Reports
Professional documents
Instead of spending hours formatting slides, I spend my time improving the content.
6. Canva AI — Faster Marketing
Canva keeps adding practical AI features that simplify marketing.
It helps create:
Social graphics
Business cards
Flyers
Resized social media posts
Marketing images
Rather than starting from scratch, AI accelerates the creative process.
7. CRM AI — Where Automation Really Pays Off
This may be the most overlooked AI tool.
Your CRM is becoming far more than a contact database.
Today's AI-powered CRMs can:
Build workflows
Create landing pages
Write emails
Respond to chats
Automate repetitive tasks
The real value isn't AI.
It's automation.
Because automation creates consistency.
Consistency builds trust.
Bonus: Claude
Claude wasn't originally on my list.
But it's getting close.
I've been impressed with its ability to produce structured documents, templates, and long-form writing.
It's becoming another excellent tool to have available.
The Bigger Lesson
Here's what I hope people take away.
Don't chase every new AI tool.
Build systems.
Each tool should have a purpose.
Each workflow should save time.
Each automation should eliminate repetitive work.
The goal isn't replacing people.
The goal is replacing repetitive tasks so you can spend more time serving people.
That's where AI delivers its greatest value.
Final Thoughts
Technology will continue to change.
The list of tools I use next year may be different.
But one principle won't change:
Successful professionals won't win because they own the most AI tools.
They'll win because they build the best systems.
